Privacy Policy
The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and shows no ads. We only receive personal information if you send it to us, and pilot-sensitive items like your Social Security number should never be sent to us at all — they go directly to the insurance broker.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy covers the website at n8366x.ajmaviation.com, operated by AJM Aviation Ventures, LLC ("AJM," "we," "us"). The AJM lessee portal at app.ajmaviation.com is a separate application with its own terms and privacy practices.
2. What this site collects
- Nothing actively. This site is a static page. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising trackers, and contains no forms.
- Hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, which we do not combine with any other information about you.
3. What you choose to send us
If you contact us by email, we receive whatever you include — typically your name, contact details, and information about your pilot certificates and experience. We use it to respond to you, evaluate your application to lease the aircraft, administer any resulting lease, and satisfy insurance and legal requirements.
4. Sensitive pilot information goes to the broker, not to us
DO NOT EMAIL AJM YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER OR OTHER HIGHLY SENSITIVE PERSONAL IDENTIFIERS.
Where the aircraft's insurance carrier requires pilot history forms or documentation containing sensitive identifiers, applicants submit those materials directly to AJM's insurance broker or carrier. AJM does not request, collect, or store Social Security numbers.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:
- with the aircraft's insurance broker and carrier, to obtain pilot approval and maintain coverage;
- with service providers that support the leasing relationship — electronic signature (e.g., DocuSign), payment processing (e.g., Stripe), and the lessee portal — each governed by its own terms;
- when required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the safety of persons or the aircraft.
6. Retention
We keep correspondence and lease-related records for as long as needed for the purposes above, including insurance, tax, and aviation recordkeeping obligations, and then delete or archive them.
7. Your California rights
California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about them, subject to legal retention requirements. Send requests to casey@ajmaviationventures.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
8. Children
This site is intended for adults, including FAA-certificated pilots and applicants. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
