1. Who we are and what this site is

This website is operated by AJM Aviation Ventures, LLC ("AJM," "we," "us"), a California limited liability company. The site describes a single aircraft, a 1961 Cessna 172C, registration N8366X, that AJM offers to qualified pilots under a non-exclusive dry lease. The site is informational only. By using it you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. No air transportation, charter, or air carrier services

AJM IS NOT AN AIR CARRIER OR COMMERCIAL OPERATOR. AJM DOES NOT HOLD, AND NOTHING ON THIS SITE SHOULD BE READ TO CLAIM, ANY CERTIFICATE UNDER 14 C.F.R. PART 119, 121, OR 135. AJM DOES NOT OFFER, SELL, OR ARRANGE TRANSPORTATION OF PERSONS OR PROPERTY BY AIR, DOES NOT SELL FLIGHTS, RIDES, OR TOURS, AND DOES NOT PROVIDE PILOTS OR CREW FOR ANY FLIGHT.

3. No flight school and no flight instruction

AJM is not a flight school and does not provide, sell, advertise, or arrange flight instruction or examiner services. AJM does not employ, select, recommend, or compensate flight instructors, and does not match pilots with instructors. Where a checkout or instruction occurs in the aircraft, the pilot independently selects, engages, and pays the flight instructor, and any instructor providing instruction in the aircraft must first be specifically approved and named under the aircraft's insurance policy. That naming requirement is an insurance condition only; it does not make any instructor an agent, employee, or contractor of AJM.

4. Dry lease only; operational control

Any use of N8366X occurs solely under a written, non-exclusive aircraft dry lease between AJM and the lessee. Under that lease:

• AJM furnishes the bare aircraft only — no pilot, crew, fuel, dispatch, flight planning, or other operational services;
• the lessee has sole and exclusive operational control of each flight, as that term is defined in 14 C.F.R. § 1.1, including the authority to initiate, conduct, and terminate the flight;
• the lessee's pilot in command is solely responsible for each flight, including airworthiness acceptance, weather, loading, and compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations;
• the lessee provides its own fuel and, if desired, independently engages its own instruction.

Any scheduling or recordkeeping tools referenced on this site or in the lessee portal are administrative conveniences only. They are not dispatch, and they do not give AJM authority over when, where, whether, or how any flight is conducted.

5. No offer; qualification required

Nothing on this site is an offer to lease, an offer of aircraft use, or a guarantee of availability. Leasing is available only to pilots who complete AJM's application, are approved under the aircraft's insurance policy, complete a checkout with an insurance-approved flight instructor, and execute the written lease agreement. AJM may accept or decline any applicant in its sole discretion. Rates, terms, equipment, and availability may change at any time without notice.

6. Pilot responsibility; no aviation advice

Content on this site — including aircraft specifications, avionics descriptions, and statements about training suitability — is general information, not aviation, legal, or regulatory advice, and is not a substitute for official publications, the aircraft's documents, or a pilot's own judgment. Pilots are solely responsible for their own certificates, ratings, medical certification, currency, and compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations.

7. The lease agreement controls

If there is any conflict between this website and an executed lease agreement, the executed lease agreement controls. This site does not create, modify, or supplement any lease, and no statement on this site creates any partnership, joint venture, agency, club, membership, or co-ownership arrangement of any kind.

8. Site provided "as is"

THIS SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AJM AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS SITE OR ITS CONTENT. THIS SECTION CONCERNS THE WEBSITE ONLY; THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF PARTIES TO AN EXECUTED LEASE ARE GOVERNED EXCLUSIVELY BY THAT LEASE.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including photographs of N8366X, text, and the AJM Aviation name and logo, is the property of AJM or its licensors and may not be copied, republished, or used without prior written permission.

10. Third-party services

This site links to third-party services, including the AJM lessee portal, electronic signature, and payment services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable federal aviation law. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of this website is Orange County, California.
